who we are
Trent and Kate started working together in 2013. Together they managed the client side of the marketing agency where they were working. By 2014, Trent had started to build up the digital strategy side of the business from scratch, while Kate took on a senior management role in the business. Between them they have worked on marketing strategies for over 500 different businesses. They have helped create and develop many marketing products and have managed over 100 people. They approach any situation from very different perspectives and this gives the customer a very well rounded strategy.

Kate lived in the UK while attending university at the start of her career, moving to Australia in 2013. She studied Business Management at university and has a background in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations and Financial Advisory services.
Kate has a high-level business acumen which is used to understand the particular needs of each customer, then guide teams to deliver results that support them. Her passion is people and her experience has been moulded by motivating them to succeed.
At No Jargon, Kate’s focus is on general business management and improving sales for any business. She strives to understand everything about a business to help make it work as efficiently as possible. She has led and implemented a number of initiatives both internally and for other businesses.
Outside of work, Kate is a self-confessed ‘plant lady’ and spends a lot of time convincing her friends and family that they need more plants in their lives. She has a passion for reducing plastic and tries to shop local as much as possible.
While Trent’s experience spans multiple projects, his primary experience comes from 8 years in a content marketing agency. 5 of those years as the Head of Strategy.
Trent worked with hundreds of clients across dozens of industries in his 8 agency years, creating and advising on strategies with many different objectives.
His expertise is the ability to take all available information about a business (with a heavy focus on data and analysis) and compile a strategy that is as close to perfect as possible.
Outside of client work, Trent helped the agency strengthen their position in the market. Being a senior member of the management team, he worked across areas such as product development, internal training, and the companies marketing efforts.
As a self-proclaimed card shark, Trent is able to apply this strategic expertise to marketing strategies very effectively. Being very data-orientated helps in both scenarios.
